Heap Leaching
Définition
Ore leaching where crushed ore is stacked on an impermeable liner and sprayed with lixiviant (sulfuric acid for copper, alkaline cyanide for gold). Metals recovered from the pregnant leach solution (PLS) by SX-EW or carbon adsorption.
